These Suffolk style strap hinges come complete with matching plate pintles and stainless steel mounting screws. Two sets of these hinges are all that is required for mounting small to average sized exterior shutters on functional hinges.
The pintles use a plate to screw onto the mounting surface. They have a 1/2" pintle pin, which fits perfectly with the 1/2" diameter sleeve on the included hinges. The hinge has a 1" offset and the pintle has a 1" offset for a total reveal of 2".
