The 1/2" hand forged adjustable lag pintle from Lynn Cove is the alternative for mounting your exterior shutters when there is no window encasement to attach them to. Lag pintles can be bored into the studs that surround most windows to provide a solid mounting surface. These pintles are available in both 4" and 6" lengths.
The pintle is made from carbon steel and is finished with a black powder coat.
