The stainless steel propeller stay from Lynn Cove is a great alternative to the traditional "S" style holdback. This tieback is made of hand forged stainless steel, it comes packaged unassembled with stainless steel lag bolts, and is finished with a black powder coat. It is beveled on both sides.

The propeller shutterdogs are packaged and sold in pairs. They are 7" in length.

In the Colonial through the Old West era of North America, board and batten shutters and solid panel shutters were modified with diamond cutouts to be used for gun ports during shootouts. Over time, the cutouts in the window shutters were made into moons, hearts, flowers, and other decorative patterns. Today many wooden exterior shutters can still be ordered with decorative cutouts.
