The hidden shutter stay from Lynn Cove works similar to a door catch - simply swing it all the way open to latch in place. A small acorn shaped piece of metal latches with a piece of spring steel to hold the shutter in the open position. Simply give it a tug to release the shutter.
The hidden shutter holdback is made of stainless steel and the bullet catch measures 5/8" in diameter. It comes complete with stainless steel mounting screws, and is sold in pairs.
