The Alcoa louver quarter round arch top along with a pair of Alcoa Vintage® exterior shutters are the perfect companion for your home's half round windows. These arch tops simply clip on to the top of 14 5/8" standard or custom shutters and then fasten to the wall using the same hardware you use for your Alcoa vinyl shutters.
Vinyl shutter arch tops aren't just for half round windows. Put them next to your elliptical or rectangular windows for an added decorative flair.
These arch shutter tops are color-coordinated to match Alcoa Vintage® exterior vinyl shutters and they are molded from the same high-quality copolymer material for an exact match.

Important Measurement Information
The height of the exterior vinyl shutters you order with these arches should be equal to the window measurement.
To obtain the window measurement for half round windows, measure from the bottom of the window to the point where the window starts to arch, including the window trim. This is the measurement you should use when ordering the exterior vinyl shutters to use with these arch tops.
For example, if you measure your arched window and it is 59" from the bottom of the window trim to the point where the arch begins, the size of exterior vinyl shutters you order for these quarter round arch tops should be 59".
Remember - measure twice and order once!

Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I remove the Shutterplugs from the vinyl shutters once they are in place?
Slide a chisel behind the vinyl shutter until it comes in contact with the Shutterplug. Make sure to keep the sharp edge of the chisel away from the wall. Give the chisel a sharp tap with a hammer and it will cut through the Shutterplug. After the shutter is removed, shear the remaining part of the Shutterplug flush with the surface and bore out the shank with a drill. Fill the hole with silicone to weatherproof. See our Vinyl Shutter Removal Instructions for additional information. - My exterior wall is uneven. How do I install my exterior vinyl shutters?
You can use ferrules (a short cylindrical pipe) as standoffs to keep your vinyl shutters stable. Simply paint them, trim to size, and mount them behind your exterior shutters. Do not to put wood blocks behind the vinyl exterior shutters because they will rot fairly quickly.

The Jalousie window was one of the first attempts at combining the glass of
a window with movable louvered shutters.
The windows are constructed with horizontally mounted glass louvered slats that
butt against each other tightly when closed and rotate outward when cranked open.
These "louvered" windows were used along coastal regions of the United States
in the 60's and 70's, but have since gone out of fashion.
