Description

The raised panel style elliptical arch tops for standard panel shutters are the perfect decorative match for your elliptical arched windows. Made from the same fade-resistant polypropylene material that made Mid-America vinyl shutters famous, these 1/8 round elliptical arch tops are made to last and covered by a 40 year transferable warranty.
Decorating your elliptical windows doesn't have to be a challenge. With these elliptical arch tops it is very easy - simply clip the top to your standard-sized raised panel shutters, then attach the assembly to the exterior wall with the included Shutter-Loks. You might be surprised just how easy it is. When you are finished, you have what look like a single piece elliptical exterior shutters next to your elliptical window.
Please note that these elliptical arch tops do not fit Mid-America custom vinyl shutters or standard louvered shutters, they are made only for 14 3/4" standard raised panel shutters (style MP).

Important Measurement Information
To obtain the window measurement for elliptical round windows, measure from the bottom of the window to the point where the window starts to arch, including the window trim.
When using the 14 3/4" raised panel elliptical arch top, the standard sized raised panel shutter measurement should equal the window measurement. This will allow the arch top to sit at the same level as the elliptical part of the window.
For example, if your window measurement is 59" in height, you will need to order 14 3/4" x 59" standard sized raised panel shutters (style MP) to match up with your window.
Remember - measure twice and order once!

This raised panel 1/8 round arch top is only compatible with the following Mid-America vinyl shutters when they are ordered in 14 3/4" widths. Use of this product with any other exterior window shutters is not recommended.

If you would like to paint the shutters, order color #030 Paintable. None of the other Mid-America
colored vinyl shutters are paintable and attempting to do so will void the product warranty.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I remove the Shutter-Loks from the vinyl shutters once they are in place?
Slide a chisel behind the shutter until it comes in contact with the Shutter-Lok. Make sure to keep the sharp edge of the chisel away from the wall. Give the chisel a sharp tap with a hammer and it will cut through the Shutter-Lok. After the shutter is removed, shear the remaining part of the Shutter-Lok flush with the surface and bore out the shank with a drill. Fill the hole with silicone to weatherproof. See our Vinyl Shutter Removal Instructions for additional information. - My exterior wall is uneven. How do I install my exterior vinyl shutters?
You can use ferrules (a short cylindrical pipe) as standoffs to keep your vinyl shutters stable. Simply paint them, trim to size, and mount them behind your exterior shutters. Do not to put wood blocks behind the vinyl exterior shutters because they will rot fairly quickly.
