Raised Panels
|
Choose the material and configuration of your raised panels. The raised panels can be raised on one or both sides of the shutter. Choose
to have them raised on both sides if you intend to use the shutters with operational hardware so they will look just as nice when they are
closed.
The recommended material to use is Extira® composite because it does not crack like natural wood, and will save you a lot
of maintenance in the long run.
If you are staining your shutters or prefer real wood panels, we recommend using the same wood you chose
for the material of the shutter frame. For example, if you choose Cedar from the "Material" dropdown,
you should choose Cedar from the "Raised Panels" dropdown as well
to get the same wood for both the frame and panels.
