The Quick Shutter Clamping System was designed to make boarding your windows easy in the event of a hurricane or other inclament weather. Quicker, easier and less expensive than ordering hurricane shutters, and at the same time not ruining the exterior of your home!
The Quick Shutter Clamping System uses force and friction. A rotating cam pushes a rubber bumper against the interior of the window frame and the pressure against the frame keeps the plywood in place. The system has been tested to meet both Florida building codes ASTM E 330 and ASTM E 1996/1886.
The best part is they can be installed by 1 person in just minutes. There is no need to call all of your neighbors to help you board up your windows.

|Did You Know...
The Jalousie window was one of the first attempts at combining the glass of
a window with movable louvered shutters.
The windows are constructed with horizontally mounted glass louvered slats that
butt against each other tightly when closed and rotate outward when cranked open.
These "louvered" windows were used along coastal regions of the United States
in the 60's and 70's, but have since gone out of fashion.
